Four funds cease as independent funds
The four equity funds will be merged into other existing funds so the investments remain in equities.
At Danske Invest we continuously strive to make investing in our funds simpler and more attractive. We are therefore merging four of our funds into other, existing Danske Invest funds, as keeping them independent no longer provides sufficient value for investors, in our view. The reason for this is that the funds have relatively limited assets under management (AUM).
The following four funds will cease to be independent funds:
Danske Invest Nordic
We are merging Danske Invest Nordic into the Danske Invest Europe fund. The merger means the investors’ investment in Nordic equities via Danske Invest Nordic will in future be a broader investment in European equities via Danske Invest Europe, which has lower ongoing charges (1.77% compared to 1.80% in Danske Invest Nordic).
Danske Invest Europe Focus
We are merging Danske Invest Europe Focus into the Danske Invest Europe fund. The merger means the investors’ investment in European equities will in future be via Danske Invest Europe. Fees are the same, as is the investment strategy.
Danske Invest Trans-Balkan
We are merging Danske Invest Trans-Balkan into the Danske Invest Eastern Europe ex. Russia fund. The merger means the investors’ investment in equities from the Balkan countries will in future be a broader investment in Eastern European equities via Danske Invest Eastern Europe ex. Russia, which has markedly lower ongoing charges (1.95% compared to 3.30% in Danske Invest Trans-Balkan).
Danske Invest Sweden
We are merging Danske Invest Sweden into the Danske Invest Sverige fund. The merger means your investment in Swedish equities will in future be in the fund Danske Invest Sverige, which also has lower ongoing charges (1.67% compared to 1,77% in Danske Invest Sweden).
The mergers are effective from 21 September, 2018. You can read more in the shareholder notice.
